Alegor Vlahuţa

Alegor Vlahuță Correction Center offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy – a modern, scientifically proven method that helps children with developmental differences, including autism, acquire essential life, social, and academic skills. The best results are achieved when therapy begins at an early age.

ABA therapy at Alegor Vlahuță is built on consistency, regularity, and an individual approach:

Initial Assessment – the specialist meets the child, observes their behavior, and identifies strengths and areas that need improvement.

Personalized Learning Program – developed based on the child’s individual needs and parents’ input (often using ABLLS-R or VB-MAPP methodologies). It includes self-care, communication, play, social interaction, and academic readiness skills. The program is adjusted as the child progresses.

Regular Sessions – held according to a set schedule to reinforce and expand skills step by step.

Parent Involvement – encouraged as long as it does not interfere with the process. Parents receive recommendations for home activities to help accelerate progress.

Session Format
Each session lasts 2 hours:

1 hour – one-on-one work with a specialist;

1 hour – group activities with other children to develop social skills.

As part of the group program, we also conduct music therapy sessions, which help children develop auditory perception, sense of rhythm, emotional expression, and the ability to interact with others through music.

Sessions are held Monday to Friday. We accept children from 2 to 8 years old. Instruction is provided in both Romanian and Russian.
